It's been a while since I've written. That's because Black Chick is in San Diego. I've been here for the past 2 weeks visiting my son and my family. San Diego is freakin' AWESOME!! I took some "tourist footage" that I plan to share shortly.
Well...I'm headed back to the KSA. And, this time...I'm really ready. I miss my husband. And, I have a new attitude. Also, I'm tired of living out of suitcases (which I've been doing since mid December)...and I'm ready to get my home set up and our lives "back to normal". Our stuff arrived while I was gone. So...that's cool. Can't wait to get everything set up.
I did so much freakin shopping while here. I stocked up on cute t-shirts, make-up (I haven't seen my brand in the KSA, and what they have is much more expensive), swimwear (I'm going on vacation in May), kitchen stuff (I don't know if they have kitchen ware stores in the KSA like Bed Bath Beyond; I haven't seen one), shoes, organic/raw snacks that I love, I even bought Roland stuff LOL. Anyway...I came with 2 pieces of luggage and I'm leaving with 3 pieces and 2 boxes.
The car service I hired should be here in 1 hour to take me to LAX. So...I'm out.

You really went on a shopping spree didn't you. Well I guess you knew more of what you need to get from the states this time.

For "kitchen stuff" you can tray Center Point and Ikea.
Thanks Mel and Hell Freak!! I'm really glad to be getting back (which I thought I would never say). This time off helped me alot...and I'm glad.
HajjiWK: yea...of course there is IKEA but there stuff is so..."IKEA Generic"...I will check out Center Point. Thanks for the info!! And, if that doesn't work...back to IKEA I go (at least until my next trip to the states in August).
Hope you remembered to buy some Water filters. :)
BP: LOL!! Yes...I did remember...I came back with 3 heavy duty refills (these last a year) and a new filter for the 2nd upstairs bathroom.
