So...I've decided to unlock my blog. Why? Because I just don't care anymore. If people don't like what I write...they can NOT come by. I will ignore the trolls, and just do "my thang".
I haven't written in a while because I haven't been in Saudi Arabia. As some of you know... I left SA for 2 months from Mid Fed - Mid April. Well I was back for 3 weeks then left left on a family vacation for most of the past 3 weeks. Hubby, my mom, her friend, and myself. 18 days (i'm counting travel days), 5 countries!! Spent 4 days in London; went on an 11 night Mediterranean Cruise; then 2 days in Barcelona. Had a blast...you can check out my review of the cruise here:
I've visited so my cities on this trip, and with all my travels...I have decided that it's almost a must that I start a Travel Blog. During this trip...I took over 1000 pictures and 400 video clips. And, I'd like to share these; but not on this blog. So...a new blog it is. I don't know what I'm going to call it yet. I like the moniker "Black Chick"...but I haven't come up with anything clever to follow this. I've temporarily selected, Black Chick on Tour. But, I would be stealing this idea from a friends blog...so I'm kinda not feeling it...but it does sound cute. So...if anyone has any real suggestions, holla' at me.
Wow...it kinda feels good to be back writing again. I think I've had/have a case of the doldrums. I'm working it out...

As for a title...off the top of my head, how about 'Black Chick vs. The World' (would go great with your tagline about being big-mouthed and opinionated ;)) or 'Black Chick on Earth'?

Hello, just saw your blog a couple of days ago, or was it yesterday? not sure. Did not even know it was locked, the only thing locked were the videos.
Anyhow, the question is... will you be traveling much more these days? if so, then you can, other wise, just put everything here.
And that was one hell of a way to travel, I am envious.

Thanks precognitive for stopping by. I don't want to put them here because it would imply i'm a Black Chick living in Saudi and traveling the world. Why? Because i'm so not feeling SA that I don't want to give the impression that I live here, as I could just as easily not be living here in a year or two...but I plan to travel for my entire life. I'm kinda just hovering around SA until my next trip to the states (in August), and my next vacation in November. That doesn't make for the best existence (just hovering/waiting to leave) but I'm rolling with it right now.
Best thing to do is get it in your name, that way... It's always u, where ever u r, and what ever you do.
Plus, there are a lot of black chicks in Saudi and around the world.

The name is Stacy. I'm from the States too. I love hearing about your time in Saudi because I have a man here in the States from Saudi. I don't think I could ever live there because, though I'm small in size, I've got a big personality. From what I know about there, is that women are better off not being heard or seen. Though I would go there for Hajj.
Which reminds me, Ramadan is coming up! Are you going to fast with the majority? You will have to blog about it! :-)

Distraught over not being able to read my blog? Wow, I'm always surprised anyone is reading this thing at all. Go figure....
NO...I have no intention on fasting...I'm not Muslim. Saudi is not a place to go for a cultural experience. What I'm looking forward to in regards to Ramadan is that I've heard the streets are clear during the day because everyone (the muslims) are at home...sounds like the perfect time to go shopping. LOL
Woohoo I'm so glad you started writing again! This is a bit late, but every now and again I'd check to see if you were writing and you weren't (sounds a bit stalker-ish hmm) which was sad. But I'm happy that you're back again, I really missed your perspective on KSA (which is very refreshing btw).
