While killing time on YouTube I came across this song from Mary J Blige's 2008 album. 2008 is when I moved here and I was playing the hell out of this CD. I was really identifying with it at the time. Then today, it occurred to me that this CD is titled Growing Pains. Maybe that is why I was feeling it so much since I was going through growing pains of my own. Especially since my husband and I were having re-entry issues. LOL. Re-entry issues arise when a couple has been living apart for a significant amount of time and now they're living together again. And, in my case, we were "living together again" in Saudi. So, I was dealing with Culture Shock and Re-Entry. Gawd!!! Whew...I am so freakin' glad that is so far behind me. This is one of my favorite songs on this CD, even though the whole CD is a put-in-and-play.
