Ohmigod!! I've always been one who doesn't mind the heat. When people are complaining about the heat, I'm loving it, and wondering what in the hell their problem is. Well, for about the past 5 days, it has been so hot, it has surpassed my level of endurance. I thought I was hard core, going to Vegas in July and August, I've done Arizona in the summer, and I love sitting out in the Saudi sun. But, this heat has got me beat. For about the past week, it's been 108 and up during the day, with 100% humidity, and in the low 90's in the evening. It's horrible. It's as if this is a warning for August, the heat is laughing at us saying, "you ain't seen nothing yet."

blah! I thought I had it bad in Florida (which it is but not as bad as you).
Drink a cool lemonade, as you hope for a spot of rum. lol

Yea...I'll drink that lemonade...but instead of rum, i'd hope for a spot of vodka, preferably grey goose.

I love the heat, but alas, I'm Canadian (Prairie Canadian too!) so whatever I think is hot is probably very mild and I'd die there in Saudi, haha. The highest it's been here this summer is 86F (30C) and I thought that was getting a bit hot :S
However, I've seen the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia get as hot as 108F at times...I loved summers in that area.
As for spiked lemonades...I'll opt for a mojito instead :)
